Empowering Collaborative Innovation in Cities Across Latin America and Africa
The Local Innovators Program (“Programa de Innovadores Locales”) is a powerful 6-month experience in which local government leaders and social entrepreneurs in cities across Latin America and Africa work together to design innovative solutions to their cities‘ most pressing challenges. In 2024, the four key focal topics are: inclusion and equality, sustainable habits, economic opportunities, and new skills.
The programme puts a particular focus on supporting participants to develop approaches that promote collective intelligence, democratize decision making and cultivate trust.
In this video, watch pitches of such innovative solutions in action from several participants of the 2024 program.
The Local Innovators Program is an initiative promoted by Ayni, an alliance of organizations committed to systemic innovation, collaborative leadership and the transformation of cities: RIL – Red de Innovación Local (Argentina), Ashoka, CoLab (Chile) and Vía Educación (Mexico).“
