DARP workshops: Efficient funding management & sustainable school IT
The German Recovery and Resilience Plan (DARP) is Germany's comprehensive response to the social and economic challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic. Germany has around 26 billion euros at its disposal as part of the EU's Next Generation EU recovery instrument. These funds are intended to remove barriers to investment and finance specific measures to recover and strengthen the economy.
On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF), PD - Berater der öffentlichen Hand GmbH is supporting the implementation of the DARP. The focus is on two central areas: efficient funding management and sustainable IT investments in schools. The aim is to identify obstacles in the implementation of public investment projects and to develop solutions for better utilisation of funding.
Two online shareholder workshops are planned for the period from 4 to 8 November 2024. These workshops will focus on the development of efficient funding management and the presentation of practical tools for local authorities. The aim is to provide participants with practical approaches and tools to optimise access to and use of funding. These events are free of charge and offer a platform for discussion and the development of solutions. Further information on registration will be available from September at www.pd-g.de/aktuell-im-fokus/darp.
The school IT counselling experts also invite you to other events:
- On 11 September 2024, the 4th consultation hour on the School IT Navigator will take place from 09:00 to 10:30. The latest application of the School IT Navigator, the development barometer, will be presented here, which enables self-evaluation of the school IT development status.
- The 8th School IT Workshop on 27 September 2024 from 09:00 to 11:00 is dedicated to the topic of sustainability in school IT.
