Damilola Adeniran is a Policy Professional working in the field of digital transformation, innovation, inclusion, migration, and sustainability. He is a two-time Salzburg Global Fellow and a 2023 Migrant Youth Delegate to the European Parliament. Damilola is the first Nigerian to win the World Bank blog4dev competition; a former Paradigm Initiative Digital Rights and Inclusion Fellow; and also a recipient of a PeaceWriteNow prize from the Government of Ireland. Over the years, Damilola has carried out policy programs, initiatives and projects with organizations in Nigeria, Germany, Belgium, and USA including the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, ONE Campaign; World Bank; Africa-Europe Foundation; the International Organization for Migration; European Centre for Youth Education; and the Africa Centre for Economic Transformation. Recently, he co-founded a platform to improve the participation of young Africans in accessing international opportunities in the field of policy and development.
