Vlad Afanasiev

Vlad ist Strategieentwickler und Forscher mit den Schwerpunkten Stadt- und Umweltmanagement, Einsatz von Prognosetechniken, prädiktiver Simulation und Modellierung. Bevor er zu Dark Matter kam, war er Teil des Terraforming-Forschungsprogramms und arbeitete an strategischen Projekten auf regionaler und nationaler Ebene in der Ukraine, die sich mit territorialer Entwicklung und dezentraler Governance befassten. Derzeit arbeitet er als Tutor für das Programm City & Technology am IAAC in Barcelona.

Vlad is a strategic designer and researcher, with a focus on urban and environmental governance, the use of forecasting technics, predictive simulation and modelling. Prior to joining Dark Matter he was part of The Terraforming research program and worked on region and nation-scale strategic projects across Ukraine related to territorial development and decentralised governance. He currently serves as a City & Technology program tutor at IAAC in Barcelona.
