Martin Schwegmann

Martin Schwegmann advises cities and organisations on sustainability, climate change mitigation and digital transformation. He is an architect and urban designer by training. From 2017-2023 he was the studio commissioner for Berlin. As a board member of the rethink the city initiative "StadtNeudenken", he coordinates and moderates the Roundtable on Real Estate Policy and actively works on various governance instruments for a transparent and sustainable real estate policy in Berlin. He is a member of the pool of experts for the planned IBA Berlin. As a member of Zusammenkunft e.G., he has accompanied the development of the neighbourhood around the "Haus der Statistik" in Berlin in various functions since 2018. He is active for Architects for Future Berlin in the field of circular construction and data agency.
