Mariana Lavín Barrientos is a public innovation consultant and program manager specializing in governance innovation, digital transformation, and innovation capacity-building. She has led multi-country initiatives with governments, international organizations, and civic institutions across Latin America and Europe, focusing on democratic governance, AI, and public sector innovation.
Her work has included leading innovation pilots with government teams, coaching city leaders through design-based transformation processes, and developing regional programs on political leadership and emerging technologies. She has worked with organizations including the OECD, the Centre for Public Impact, Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Better Politics Foundation, and federal and local governments in Latin America and Europe.
Previously, Mariana led national open innovation initiatives at Chile’s Laboratorio de Gobierno, helping embed innovation solutions across the public sector.
