Luana Faria

Luana Faria is a psychologist, a federal public servant, and the General Coordinator of LA-BORA! gov, an innovative management lab within the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services in Brazil. Her expertise lies in people and innovation. She is also an Advisor at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and a Danida Fellow with the Danish Agency for International Development. She is certified in Nudging & Behavioral Insights by iNudgeyou in Denmark.
She leads a team that has won nine prestigious awards, including the “Creative Bureaucracy” award (Germany, 2023), the “Global Government Excellence Award” at the World Government Summit (Dubai, 2023), and “Global Public Service Team of the Year” by Apolitical (London, 2022). Her team also secured top honors in the 5th Enap Innovation Contest in 2021, Brazil’s largest innovation award.

In addition to her leadership role, she teaches at several organizations in Brazil. Her mission is to transform workplace relationships, processes, and environments through innovative management practices, connecting public servants to meaningful experiences and driving organizational innovation. She is a mother of two and an avid kitesurfer.
