Christina Neddens

Christina Neddens is Head of Unit for Urban Development Planning South/West at the City of Leipzig.
As an architect and urban planner, she is engaged in implementing co-creative projects and co-productive processes to implement civic initiatives for the common good in the city. In the context of urban development, she is interested in building effective structures between citizens and administration.
In cooperation with the „Ecken wecken“ foundation and the network “Wir im Quartier”, a format was developed in which co-creative projects and tools from civic processes can also be used within the city administration by employees using their own projects for the common good. The use of the tools is seen as a contribution to the establishment of a future-oriented city administration.
