General Terms and Conditions Creative Bureaucracy Festival 2022
1. Organizer

2. Subject matter of the contract
The subject matter of the contract results from these terms and conditions, the ticket form and the fees stated therein, as well as from the program provided.
3. Registration and conclusion of the contract
The participant registers by submitting the fully completed participant form. The contract is concluded with the confirmation of the organizer, at the latest with the sending of the invoice.
4. Services of the organizer
The services of the organizer include the participation in the Creative Bureaucracy Festival 2022 as well as the lectures of the speakers. Catering, travel expenses and other costs are not included in the service.
5. Changes in speaker selection / program
The organizer reserves the right to replace announced speakers with others and to make any necessary changes to the event program while maintaining the overall character of the event.
6. Changes due to force majeure or official orders
6.1 If the event cannot be held due to official orders, force majeure such as a pandemic development, vandalism, threat of terrorism or due to disturbances at the event location, the participants will be informed immediately. The event fee will be refunded in these cases. A claim for reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs as well as loss of work is excluded.
6.2 If changes have to be made to the schedule and access control due to official orders, we reserve the right to implement these. Including a purely digital implementation of the Creative Bureaucracy Festival 2022 as well as a change of date.
7. Participation fee and cancellation of registrations by participants
The participation fee is per person and event date plus statutory VAT. Participants are obliged to pay the agreed participation fee.
In case of cancellation up to two weeks before the start of the event, a ticketing fee of 1.85 EUR (student ticket) or 2.53 EUR (normal ticket) will be charged, after that the full ticket price will be retained.
8. COVID protection
The regulations of the Berlin SARS-CoV-2 infection control measures ordinance valid at the time of the event apply to the staging of the event. The participants themselves must ensure that they comply with these regulations and, if necessary, carry a mask, a vaccination certificate, a convalescent certificate or a test certificate with them. The organizer reserves the right to take measures to increase the protection of the participants. We will inform you about the regulations of the Berlin SARS-CoV-2-Infection Protection Measures Ordinance valid at the time of the event as well as the measures taken by the organizer by e-mail in due time before the event begins.
9. Disclaimer
9.1 The organizer is not liable for damages, unless these were caused intentionally or by gross negligence on his part or resulted from his culpable injury to life, body or health. The organizer is not liable for consequential damages, such as a loss of earnings due to quarantine conditions. The organizer is not liable for costs arising from a COVID infection at the event. Insofar as liability is excluded or limited, this also applies to the personal liability of the organizer’s legal representatives, executive employees and other vicarious agents. Legal claims remain unaffected.
9.2 The organizer does not assume any liability for personal items/clothing brought along.
10. Rights to your own image
During the Creative Bureaucracy Festival 2022, photographs and film footage will be recorded, which will be used for documentation and press relations. For questions or if you do not want your image to be used, please send an email to: info@creativebureaucracy.org in advance of the festival.

12. General provisions
If any provision of these general terms and conditions, service description and/or price list is invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
