With an Engineering and urban planning background, she is the director of BIT Habitat, the Urban Innovation Agency of Barcelona City Council, which aims to tackle the social, economic, technological, and environmental challenges the city is facing, with the involvement and collaboration of the innovative ecosystem in co-shaping more sustainable and fair urban future.
She coordinated the setting up of the EIT Urban Mobility Initiative in its start-up year.
She has been designing and curating cultural events with a societal impact, addressed to open debate and dialogue around the big challenges cities are facing, like digital transformation, and ecological and social transition, among others.
She has been coordinating the Urbanization Observatory (Autonomous University of Barcelona) an urban research center focused on analyzing urban and societal transformations and designing strategic plans and policies to tackle specific needs. She has been also coordinating the International Master of Landscape and Heritage Management (UAB-MUHBA)
She is a member of the Catalan Territorial Planning Society and she has been jury of several prizes, like the ICapital Award, the European Capital of Innovation, in its 2023 edition.
