Dr. Christoph Gran is co-founder of ZOE, the Institute for Future-fit Economies. At the interface of science, politics and civil society ZOE mainstreams new ideas and economic knowledge into policy institutions of the EU and identifies and strengthens agents for change within public policy institutions. Christoph Gran holds a PhD in macroeconomic modelling, where he explored the stability of non growing economies. He is co-founder of the Network for Pluralist Economics Germany. At ZOE, he is currently leading a project on “Policy pathways towards 1.5-Degree Lifestyles”. Together with EU-Policymakers he explores possibilities to implement policy instruments that create an environment in which sustainable lifestyles are the most convenient, accessible, and affordable way of living.
