Edward ‘Eddy’ Adusei is a Ghanaian born naturalised Dutch citizen. He moved to the Netherlands in October 1990 to further his education after completing his first degree in Business Administration. He studied public policy and administration at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), Erasmus University, in the Netherland. He later enrolled in Utrecht University to study Comparative Law and Good Governance.
He currently works as Area Manager in the City of Amsterdam, managing of public space, and forms the head of the Corona Prevention Team in the Amsterdam Southeast district. He was formerly the manager of Social Policies.
Edward has allocated resources to ensuring youth development in areas of education, poverty reduction and also in accommodation for adults in the district of Southeast. This is something that he prides himself with the most. He spends his private time improving the lives of others, remembering his quote “I accept any type of life provided if it leads to the improvement of others”.
