Dimiter Toshkov is Associate Professor of Public Administration at Leiden University in The Netherlands. He studies how governments around the world can make effective and legitimate public policies.

He is author of the popular textbook ‘Research Design in Political Science’ (Palgrave Macmillan 2016), and he is passionate about open data and data visualization.
