Blueprints for Messy Cities
Urban challenges require new ways for collaboration between research and policymaking. Design research and expertise are core to the success of these collaborations.
This is the conclusion of the City Science Initiative in which more than 55 Cities participate since 2019. CSI is committed to build capacity for City Science, to develop new methodologies for City Science and to offer advice to the EU commission from the city perspective. CSI is supported by JRC, DG R&I and DG Reggio.
Prof. dr. Caroline Nevejan is a researcher and designer who has been involved with the emerging network society and digital culture since the 1980â€™s. Nevejan is a regular presenter at national and international fora. She is an advisor to national and European policy makers.
