Mapa do Tesouro (Treasury Map) is a project of transparency in the public budget and in the analysis of its destinations allowing the availability through didactic strategies (“Simple Language”) of the financial, accounting and tax information of the municipality of Salvador (Bahia/Brazil) to the taxpayer. The positive results achieved were Transparency on tax information, and approximation of the citizen with the tax authorities. Examples of deliveries were the Business Intelligence (BI) Tools, regulation of the tax policy council, communication strategy based on booklets and social networks, and, periodic publications on Salvador Treasury and Finance Secretariat social networks.

Luciana Borges is a Public Accounting Specialist, with extensive experience in budget, accounting and financial management of Municipalities. Manager of SIAFIC in the city of Salvador – Ba, with know-how in projects to replace and modernize budget, accounting and finance systems. Responsible for establishing accountability routines for the External Control Body. In-house instructor at the Municipality of Salvador, with expertise in training in the areas of budgeting, accounting and public finance. Member of the Public Accounting Commission of CRC BA Coordinator of the Brazilian Association of Finance Secretaries of the Capitals (ABRASF), Capital Accountants Group. Member of CTCONF as representative of ABRASF.
Director of the Municipal Treasury of Salvador. Accountant and lawyer with academic specialization in Auditing, Public Management and Financial Education and Investment Management. He also acted as General Accountant of the Municipality and Coordinator of Real Estate Taxes. Professor in undergraduate and graduate courses at the Catholic University of Salvador and the Visconde de Cairu Foundation.
