Amsterdam and Barcelona are internationally considered some of the most progressive cities in testing and regulating publicly deployed AI. In 2020, Amsterdam became the first city in the world to introduce an AI register in which all government AI use cases were published. How can other cities in Europe and around the world benefit from the experiences of these cities and thereby grow the acceptance of AI adoption in public administrations?

Anita Klingel

Anita Klingel has been with PD – Berater der öffentlichen Hand GmbH since February 2021, in the position of Manager since January 2022. As manager, she leads the AI team at PD. She oversees projects in the StrategicAdministrative Modernisation business area with a focus on artificial intelligence and education. Previously, she worked for the Bertelsmann Stiftung as a board advisor in the fields of education, digitalisation and integration.
